I have just had this photographs exhibited in Wynwood Exhibition Center at Cafeina Lounge in Miami – within Beck’s Emerging Artist Exhibition.

Portrait Photography: Album Cover

Finally, we are posting a photo shoot we did for Jake – sorry, can not disclose his last name till his album is released. The portraits, consequently, were photographed for the cover and booklet of his upcoming music album due to be released any day soon. As soon as we lay our hands on it – you’ll be sure to see how the finished product looks. I’m myself dying here to see it!

We photographed Jake in Key Biscayne and Wynwood, reconstructing one of Jim Morrison’s famous photos and making full use of colorful graffiti walls, both digital and on film. The following are some of the film shots. Digital will follow!

Jake is incredibly talented, he is a thoughtful composer and inspiring performer, and definitely a heartthrob-to-be. Girlfriends, beware, a star is coming!

Engagement: Medium Format Magic

Christine and Danny’s engagement photo shoot was the first one we did with our new and beloved Mamiya. Well, not entirely with it, we played it safe and used it as an extra. The result – you take a look yourself. I’m truly, madly, deeply in love with film but still enjoy the safety and fast turnaround of shooting digital. The latter will follow shortly.

Huge thanks to Christine and Danny for being so creative and easy-going and so much fun! And for introducing us to two amazing locations – the Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach and a beyond awesome comic book and tons-of-more-stuff-you’ll-sell-your-kidney-to-buy-it-all Tate’s store.
