Venues: Ancient Spanish Monastery

An almost 900-year-old monastery – originally built in Spain and shipped to the US in the 20th century – was reassembled in North Miami Beach and is now the place to see in Miami as well as one of the most gorgeous and memorable venues in all South Florida. Authentic cloisters of the Ancient Spanish Monastery as well as the beautiful garden surrounding it are full of mystery and romance creating a unique and very inspiring setting for your special day.

Architecture: Kovens Conference Center

A new location we had a pleasure to photograph at several months ago but only now are finally getting a chance to post and tell you about. Roz & Cal Kovens Conference Center is part of the Florida International University campus in North Miami. It is the quintessence of what both Danila and I favor a lot, along with those old shabby-chic Tuscany or Provence style houses, but don’t get me started on these ones here… – anyway, a sharp, crisp, minimalistic architecture, which turned out to be the perfect backdrop for Annette and Mike’s Asian-themed wedding. In the next post you’ll see the wedding photographs per se and will admire how original and detail-oriented Annette’s vision is. This place was just the right choice for their big day.

The following were taken by Danila in what seemed to be barely 5 minutes he had to run around and snap some shots of the exterior. Great job, partner!
