Design: Silver & Purple with Sparkle & Bling

For Isis and Julio’s fabulous wedding in Ft.Lauderdale we designed a full set of wedding stationery – a unique monogram; wine labels for give-away wine bottles that also included a place card and served for seating arrangement; table numbers; a wedding menu and ceremony program; and a sign-in guestbook with their engagement photographs we took in Vizcaya. Isis’s favorite color – purple – paired with dark shimmering silver created a luxurious backdrop for thousands of crystals. Most of the decor the bride did herself – can you imagine!

Design: Chocolate & Tiffany Blue Wedding

On her wedding day Natasha – one of my very nearest and dearest – did not play it safe. She went all the way out there and reconstructed the style, the era and everything we love about Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The amount of effort and thought she put into styling the event (all DIY!!!) was amazing – and I was more than happy and honored to be able to design the graphics to support and promote her vision. Here’s what we did – a monogram, wedding invitation, which held a DVD with the movie for the guest to tune in, menu and place cards, logo/backdrop wall for the photo booth.

Design: Two Corporate Identities

Some more design portfolio updates. A logo, color scheme and website design recommendations we have developed for an online fashion retailer Prospekt-Moda. I especially adore the hang tag – the idea is for it to become the symbol and powerful marketing tool of the store – the shape staying the same with the color and pattern designed and updated for an occasion – be it launch of a new collection or a huge store-wide clearance event.

Another client – TEQNOCO group – launch their activities in the high-tech spheres of telecommunications, mobile solutions, IT. The idea for their logo came from a simplified signal indicator – with bars gaining intensity and strength vertically both in shape and color. The corporate identity package developed includes the logotype, business cards, letterheads, stamps and corporate identity guidelines.

Design & Print: Presentation Binder

Quick design portfolio updates. Here’s a binder we have designed and printed for our dear friend and an incredibly talented event planner Patty with My Event Boutique.

The base is a 1″ three-ring binder featuring black interior. The outside cover is custom designed and printed. A binder like this one holds over a hundred of regular letter-size inserts, which we also designed a template for. Now, whenever My Event Boutique would like to add a new event or setup to showcase in their portfolio, they just use the template to arrange photographs on a letter-size sheet, get it printed, punch in three holes and add it into the binder! Fast and easy – how cool is this!

Wedding Album: Courtney & Dax

One of our most favorite couples of all times – Courtney and Dax – tied the knot in the romantic, inspiring and laid-back Key West. Their wedding was the first one this year – January 2 – and you would not believe it how freezing it was in the southernmost part of the U.S. that day. I literally had to duck under the heating lamps for a couple of seconds every once in a while to be able to start feeling my fingers again. Needless to say, our second shooter was forced out of his sweatshirt in no time. His jacket followed shortly…

Despite the chill the ceremony in the beautiful St. Mary Star of the Sea was very moving, with all nearby roosters participating at their loudest. The reception party at the Truman Little White House rocked and we even got a private midnight tour around the house with the bride and groom posing as The Trumans themselves. Unbelievable!

What I want to share today is the album we designed and printed for Courtney and Dax. When they received it in the mail, this is what Courtney emailed me:
“We received our album and it is amazing! We love it. You guys did a great job with everything. Since before the wedding we have really been impressed with your professionalism as well as your creativity. Thank you so much for making this such an amazing experience. We couldn’t be happier with the way all the pictures turned out. Thank you again!”
